General conditions
Shipping information
Shipments take in a period of 3-5 working days. The rates relating to orders placed on the switch-components.com site to all of Italy are as follows:
- €10 for orders under €19.99
- €5 for orders of less than €20.00 to €39.99
- free for all orders over €40.00
Shipments will be taken over by GLS or BRT.
In the case of international shipments:
- €20 for orders under €99.99
- €10 for orders over €100

How to return a defective product
All merchandise purchased from Switch Components is covered by warranty, covering defects in manufacturing, design and workmanship. If you believe that the item you have purchased is faulty, please contact us - we may be able to resolve the issue without you having to return the product and without incurring any delivery charges.
To get a quick response, please contact us at service@gistitalia.it and provide us with a precise and complete description of the defect, as well as an indication of the product. Also, if possible, please send photos of the product so we can begin to evaluate the matter. We will then contact you to advise you of the next step to take to resolve the issue.
We will do our best to resolve the issue as soon as possible, please be honest and accurate in reporting the fault. In the event that we need to inspect the product you will be contacted by telephone.
Warranty Policy
Switch Components does not guarantee against failures or damages due to improper use of the product such as: incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or negligence, use of the product for a purpose other than its intended purpose, alteration of the product without express authorization from the parent company.
Corrosion and deterioration caused by wear and tear of the material defined as the life cycle of the product due to prolonged use will not be covered.
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims.
Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered for a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original product.
If the warranty period for a product has nearly expired and repair/replacement is not possible, Switch Components reserves the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value or a partial refund pro rata for the remainder of the warranty period.
We recommend that you install, repair and use the product in strict accordance with the product instructions and consult a professional if you encounter any problems during installation.
In the event of defective products, the costs relating to the shipment for the return of the goods and any replacement are at our expense.
Right of withdrawal
As required by Italian legislation, you can return your product within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the order.
If you are not satisfied with the purchase, you can return the goods for an exchange or a refund, the shipping costs are charged to the customer.
The right of withdrawal applies to the product purchased in its entirety;
The substantial integrity of the goods is an essential condition for exercising the right of withdrawal. The Product must be kept and returned intact and complete with all its parts, free of signs of wear, must not have been used, worn, washed or damaged;
The Product must be returned in the original packaging complete in all its parts;
To avoid damage to the original package, we recommend placing the package in a second box, on which to put the label with our address affixed; the affixing of labels or adhesive tapes directly on the original packaging of the product should be avoided in all cases.
