The season for the WeRide Fulgur Factory Team has ended! Here's how it went!
WeRide, which we presented in February 2023, is an enduro MTB team that unites athletes from different countries. Based in Switzerland, the WeRide team boasts Italian athletes such as Italian champion Mirco Vendemia and former MotoGP pro Marco Melandri, as well as two French athletes: Florian Nicolai, winner of this year's French enduro e-bike championship, and Melanie Pugin.
For them and for the other athletes, 2023 was a season full of events, with numerous competitions around the world and just as many satisfactions.
Here are the most significant results of the season in our opinion:
1st place overall in the French Championship (E-Bike enduro) with Florian Nicolai 1st place overall in the Italian Enduro Championship with Mirco Vendemmia 3rd place overall in the UCI Enduro World Cup (E-EDR) in Finale Ligure with Florian Nicolai 3rd place overall in the UCI Enduro World Cup in Canazei with Melanie Pugin 1st place in the M3 category of the Italian Championship with Marco Melandri
This was certainly an intense season, the first that the WeRide team has faced, although all the athletes have years of experience in this discipline.
Now the athletes deserve a little relaxation, but we, from our headquarters in Bassano del Grappa, are already working on new projects and products to make the 2024 season even better.
